Arête Audio LLC is an engineering service provider delivering electronics product design, testing, and support services. We bring a demonstrated history of working across industrial and academic environments, applying rigorous engineering principles to solve complex challenges.
Our name comes from the Greek concept of arête — the pursuit of excellence and the fulfillment of purpose. It's also the sharp ridge of a mountain, where precision and balance are everything. Both meanings guide our approach to engineering.
J. Casey Marnocha
Founder & Principal Engineer
Experienced engineer with a Masters of Science in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a thesis focused in optoelectronic materials and nanotechnology — specifically quantum dot synthesis and characterization.
Through lifelong learning and Arête Audio, Casey has been developing embedded systems in power electronics applications, performing root-cause analysis on complex systems, and designing electronics across industries from audio to aerospace.
